Increasing Sales by Acquiring New Customers
Increase Awareness/Traffic - Increasing exposure and targeted traffic for your business and/or website is always a great place to start. Assuming your message is being received by the right audience, finding ways to increase website traffic or people in your store will have a positive impact on your sales growth.
Increase Conversion Rate - Traffic alone won’t increase your sales unless you’re converting that traffic into a “customer” or at least a “lead” that you can nurture. View this column to implement strategies that will achieve both of these goals.
Increasing Sales with Existing Customers
Increase Order Size - It’s normally a lot easier and more cost effective to grow your sales with existing customers. Since they already trust you, implementing strategies to increase your average order size should not be as difficult as acquiring a new customer. Use this column to find ways on how you can achieve this.
Increase Frequency of Reorders - If you have a customer already buying from you, give them a reason to visit and buy from your store more often. For example: you are increasing your sales by 50% if you get your customer who presently buys from you 4 times a year to start buying from you 6 times a year. Use this column to find ways on how you can achieve this.
